BJP party members held a rally at Sheri-i-Kashmir Park

 

Jammu & Kashmir BJP holds Rally Against Mehbooba Mufti's National Flag Statement. A number of BJP party members gathered at Sheri-i-Kashmir Park and are likely to head towards the residence of former J&K CM and PDP's Leader Mehbooba Mufti, to protest against the statement regarding the Indian National flag.

Members of BJP including Sofi Yousuf, Altaf Thakur were raising pro National slogans as they headed out of the park's main gate. 

On Friday, the first time Mufti addressed reporters since her release fro, 14-month detention, had said 'When this flag of ours is restored, we will raise that flag (Indian flag) also. But we will not raise any other flag till the time our flag, which was robbed from us, is back in our hand'.

A day after her statement. 'right-wingers' allegedly attacked the office of PDP in Jammu. PDP's Firdous tak tweeted,'' Jammu office of jkpdp attacked just now. Few right-wingers barged inside and even physically assaulted me.

In Jammu, BJP takes out Tiranga Yatra, and in SKICC Srinagar BJP workers dance to Celebrate Accession Day of J&K. However the gathering witnessed a violation of Covid-19 protocols when Biryani was distributed among the workers ofter event. Hardly any social distancing norms were followed when biryani was distributed at SKICC on the Dal Lake Bank where BJP workers seen jostling to get their hands on food packets.

CORONAVIRUS VACCINE: VOLUNTEER IN OXFORD UNIVERSITY COVID-19 VACCINE TRIAL DIES

 Brazil's health authority has confirmed a volunteer has died because of participating in the clinical trials of the coronavirus vaccine development by AstraZeneca and oxford university. The country's health minister, Anvisa confirmed the person died following the trial of the drug. The health authority said the investigation will be held on the matter. Despite the death of the person, the health authority confirmed trials will continue.  "The drug is currently undergoing phase three clinical trials in the country. Brazil has a plan in place to purchase the drug and produce it as its biomedical research center if it clears the final phase of trials." Despite the death of the volunteer, oxford university has stated there are no concerns surrounding the safety of the trials.
